Dr. James Do, owner of Pucker Up Dental Spa, is a Cosmetic Dentist and Injector. Originally from Lancaster, PA, he has had a diverse professional career. After completing a Bachelor’s Degree from Villanova University in 2005, he finished a Doctorate of Dental Medicine program in 2009 at Temple University School of Dentistry and a 2-Year Postdoctoral Residency program in 2011 at Fort Bragg, NC. Before dental school, Dr. Do had committed to serving in the US Army. He was originally commissioned as an Army Officer in 2005 and has served over a combined 17 years in Active Duty, Reserves, and National Guard. He was deployed in support of the War in Afghanistan in 2012. Currently, he is a Lieutenant Colonel and the Senior Group Dentist for the 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne).

Dr. Do has performed all aspects of General Dentistry but has specialized in Cosmetic Dentistry involving the smile and advanced dental surgery including odontectomy, gingivectomy, frenectomy, and surgical dental implant placement. Recently, Dr. Do has decided to focus on combining Cosmetic Dentistry and Facial Esthetics because the smile is such an important aspect of Facial Esthetics that is not focused on in modern Medical Spas and Aesthetic

Boutiques. He is a member of the Special Operations Medical Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

In his free time, Dr. Do enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, 3 young children, and 3 dogs. He also enjoys spending time outdoors and aspires to travel the country in the family motorhome.

Dr. Derek Covington

In addition to aesthetics, Dr. Covington is a practicing anesthesiologist and hyperbaric physician. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and earned his MD from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr. Covington then interned and completed his residency in Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Finally, he completed his fellowship at the University of California-San Diego in the Department of Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine.

As an academic physician, Dr. Covington is a member of many professional societies, including the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society. Furthermore, he is an active researcher and regularly publishes his work regarding undersea medicine and anesthesiology. Finally, he was one of two physicians on-site for long-distance swimmer, Diana Nyad, during her

record-breaking swim from Havana, Cuba to Key West, Florida.

In his free time, Dr. Covington is an avid outdoorsman, traveler, and sports fan.

Stephanie is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) she worked in critical care with Atrium Health for five years. She later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from UNCC and began working in family medicine while continuing to pursue her passion for Aesthetics and is certified in injectables. Here at Pucker Up Spa, she will be able to bring her two passions together to take care of all your aesthetic needs while providing you with safe, quality care.
